Financial Considerations

Financial considerations should not be a barrier to participation and the program will make every effort to reduce financial barriers. The following expenses will be the responsibility of the student:

1. Standard undergraduate tuition rate
2. Room and Board (will be nearly identical to on-campus rate)
3. Flights to and from Hawaii (inter-island flights are purchased by the program)
4. Incidentals, independent meals, personal items, etc.
5. 5equired personal gear (snorkeling equipment, hat, boots, rain coat, etc - you will be provided with a detailed required gear list)

If you are currently receiving financial aid through the Stanford Financial Aid Office, you will receive additional support that will cover airfare and all the required equipment on the gear list.
